Syllable adalah sebuah sistem operasi bebas dan sumber terbuka untuk prosesor Pentium dan yang kompatibel dengannya. Tujuannya untuk menciptakan sebuah sistem operasi desktop yang mudah digunakan untuk pengguna rumahan dan kantor kecil. Sistem ini di-fork dari AtheOS yang stagnan pada Juli 2002.

Sistem ini memiliki web browser bawaan (ABrowse yang didasarkan kepada WebKit), email client (Whisper), pemutar media, IDE, dan banyak aplikasi lain.

Fitur-fiturnya menurut situs resminya adalah:

Sistem berkas terjurnal 64-bit bawaan, AtheOS File System (biasa disebut AFS, yang tidak sama dengan Andrew File System)

Syllable is a free operating system and open source processor for Pentium and compatible with. The goal is to create a desktop operating system that is easy to use for home users and small office. This system is a fork of AtheOS stagnant in July 2002.

This system has a default web browser (which is based ABrowse to WebKit), email client (Whisper), media player, IDE, and many other applications.
